diff between 2 FMs of currency conversion

Hi All,

Please tell me the difference between

FM

CONVERT_AMOUNT_TO_CURRENCY

CONVERT_TO_FOREIGN_CURRENCY

I want to convert the amount in GBP which company code currency to CAD,EURO etc. where as USD is a group currency ,

Which Function module I should use for this type of conversion?

Hi,

In CONVERT_AMOUNT_TO_CURRENCY you simply specify the currencies you want to perform the conversion. The system then uses TCURR table. In CONVERT_TO_FOREIGN_CURRENCY you can specify the rate, type, etc. So it's more sophisticated FM. You can use, thus, the first one.
