diff between to FMs of currency conversion.

Hi All,

Please tell me the difference between

FM

CONVERT_AMOUNT_TO_CURRENCY

CONVERT_TO_FOREIGN_CURRENCY

I want to convert the amount in GBP which company code currency to CAD,EURO etc. where as USD is a group currency ,

Which Function module I should use for this type of conversion?

Hello,

The first FM consider only the date and not the rate type when converting the values and the second one considers the rate that you passed as parameter or the rate type (configured in transaction OB08 ) if you don't pass the rate.
