Please check in SPRO

Production> Materials Requirement planning> Procurement proposals--> Planned orders --> Define Order Profile

Order profiles are preset in the standard SAP R/3 System. If required we can create new also.

Here Different planned order profiles are selected based on different selection i.e:-

Procurement type -->

Special procurement

Acct Assignment category

Based on setting of this in Material master ... profile will be selected for planned order.

Dear,

Order profiles are maintained in SPRO > Production > MRP > Procurement Proposals > Planned Order > Define order profile

Then check in OPU5. Here you maintain the relation between plant and order profile

The profiles are customised only.

It will not refer strategy directly.

It will refer account assignment category.this will inturn assigned requirement type & then to strategy.

In MTO scenario when you MRP run & planned order type KD is generated.

Hope clears to you.

Hi,

There is no relation between Strategy and planned order type directly.

But your account assignment type in requirement class of a strategy does influence the selection of planned order type.

By default system follows the settings in the Table T460C (Go through this table in SE11 tcode). It defines a planned order type for a combination of many things like procurement type, special procurement key, acct assignement category etc...

Scheduling parameters for planned orders are defined in OPU5...

Hope it is clear, please revert if more details are required..

regards,

Ashok
