Account assignment category and storage location link in Purchase req

Hi Gurus,

In case of a Sales order that automatically creates a PR, Account Assignment category is mandatory. However, if there is a account assignment category the storage location comes as blank and not visible meaning it is a statistical entry. Need to understand where the link between storage location and Account assignment category is.

Whenever You use Material Number / Short Text with Account assignment Category K Etc then storage Location Will be Grayed Out Automatically in Purchase Order and During GR.

If the Procuring Goods are Indirect Procurement then the Goods will consume Immediately.
