Authorization BEx Information Broadcasting

Hello SDN comunity,

Iu2019d like to start the SAP BI 7.0 BEx Information Broadcasting from a Web Template. There the user shouldnu2019t be able to edit or schedule the setting. He should just be allowed to execute the setting. I read that this could be done with authorization objects.

I donu2019t know how to do that. Which steps do I have to do in which transactions?

Hi Andreas,

First, you may have to create Analysis authorization object S_RS_AUTH for the user role in question, and then assignment of this authorization object in RSECADMIN tcode.

Then in the you will have to restrict the users by assigning this role to the users.

I tried to use the authorization object S_RS_BCS. But there the user can still modify the Broadcasting settings (as activity type there is only add and delete).

Can I prevent the user from editing the settings?
