please help me. how to copy all materials from one plant to another. is there any transaction code available?
Dear,
Use MM01 and use the "Copy From Material" template. The next screen will ask you to enter from which plant to which plant. If this screen does not appear, click on "Organizational Levels" in the first screen.
You may notice that all of the fields do not get copied. Besides choosing the views you want, this could be because you did not enter all of the information in the organizational level screen. Be sure you enter the company from, the company to, the plant from, and the plant to as well as the Sales organization
Another important step is that you need to set up the defaults >>> views and, most importantly, the defaults >>> organizational levels in MM01 before you start the copy. You need to set up all the views you want to be created, and then all the fields in the "Copy From" column which are relevant, because it will not copy data into views which are controlled by this data if it is missing. For example, if you do not specify the sales organization and distribution channel, it will not copy data into the sales views.

Hello
Since you want to extend all the material from one plant to another, use the program RMDATIND. It is for the direct input of material masters.
Also consult your abaper for doing this.
Hope this helps

Use MM01with Copy From Functionality.
Go to MM01 Input Old Material Number in Copy from field and in Organizational Level Old Plant number and Stor Locn in Copy from Fields and Extend the Material to new Plant & Storage Locations
If Material is Bulk Better to Use MM01 with LSMW
Else Go for BDC

since you are talking of all materials, then the best possible way is to contact with your ABAPer and go for a BDC programme.
