Difference between Manual and automatic bank statements

Hi,

Can any body guide me the exact difference between the manual and electronic bank statements and it's working procedure.

For this customization settings are same or shall we have to do any thing more.

please guide me

In terms of settings, for electronic statement u need to do 2 extra settings wherein u link the external trn id of ur bank to ur internal keys

Manual statement is entered by the user thru FF67 while electronic statement is imported thru FF_5
