SCOT configuration Issue

Dears,

I configured SCOT on my sever by following steps:

In SCOT

1. Enter the Value for Default Domain

2-In Views -> Nodes -> in the subsequent screen, expand INT -> double click on SMTP

How often the Mail should be sent. (mostly every 5 minutes)

Check the u201Ccheckboxu201D u201CNode in use.

Enter the u201CSMTP Mail Server Host Name

Enter the SMTP Port Number.

Click on the button u201CSetu201D.

In Address Areas put *

Scheduled job.

Now Issue is that when I am sending mail its showing error:

"Message cannot be transferred to node SMTP due to connection error (final)"

Please suggest am i missing something in process,do i need to set any parameter also for it.

Hi,

Make sure you are configuring SMTP on SAP according to following note

Note 455140 - Configuration of e-mail, fax, paging or SMS using SMTP

Dears,

Configured SCOT as per the note but while sending its giving error:

14:07:10 Document sent

14:07:10 Wait for communications service

14:07:56 Internal error: CL_SMTP_RESPONSE ESMTP error code is not known. 530 530 AUTH required

Please suggest.

Hi,

Check that user have valid authorization which is responsible for SAPconnect ( send mail ) job.

Dears,

Now I able to send mails only to users of same domain of my SAP server.When I send mails to different domain it get green in sap server but get stuck on mail server.

What could be reason of it.

Please suggest.

Hi,

Ask your mail administrator to allow to send mail from your sap server IP address to other domain.

Can you please how it can allowed on the server as my mail administrator is also not getting how it can be allowed.

Hi,

It's depends on mail server you are using.

contact your mail administrator. only he will be do that.

We are using Msexchange Server.

My mail administrator is also not getting how to make these settings.
