After completion of 100 ea. qty of operation, next operation will start. like this way all operation geting executed. Then how to define these operations ? and then it can be scheduled....

Dear,

Yes it is possible through the Overlapping in roututing means the operation will start before completion of the previous opn.here you need to define sent ahead quantity in CA02 in operation details.

Overlapping Indicator : Required Overlapping

Min send ahead qty : 100

Overlapping assigned in reduction strategy.

When the operation lead time exceeds the basic dates, system try to reduce the lead time by using reduction strategy.

Overlapping is one of the function in reduction strategy.

In tcode OPU5, OPU3 - planned & production scheduling parameters reduction level defined.

So system will schedule accordingly.

Hi,

Try using "Continuous flow Production" with Min. send ahead qty = 100ea. This will help you.

Dear Patil,

The operation details need to created in Routing master, where we mention the sequence of operations, time taken for operations etc.
