Weblog comments

Currently there is no option to receive the weblog comments as mail other than the weblog owner.

It would be great if we can have an option available, something like watch option for weblog or email to all those who posted a comment to the weblog .

An alternative is using the RSS feed:

http://weblogs.sdn.sap.com/feeds/comments_rss.csp

Thanks Eddy, but it would be a "nice to have" to have the comments delivered via email.

Hope Craig & Mark are adding this to their list ot to dos.

Hmm, interesting. Depends on how many people want such a feature though.

it will be really helpful, particularly in mycase (where thursday and friday are weekends) i comment a weblog and the weblog owner had replied. when i come back on friday there is a high chance that the weblog comments and the weblog is moved out of front page (most recent weblogs) and loose my attention, an email of the reply would have been better.

Hi,

I wouldn't say to it either as long as long as one can switch it off. Btw it would be nice if I comment on a comment on my web log that I don't receive my own comment(s).
