Hi Amy,
I can export my Xcelsius models to pdf, Word, etc., but the "export to AIR" option is greyed out. Would you know why? I do have Adobe AIR installed and am using Xcelsius Engage 2008 as a stand-alone desktop application.
I have already installed:
(1) Adobe Flex 3.0 SDK at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 3 Plug-in\sdks\3.0
(2) Java 2 Runtime Environment 1.6
(3) AIR player
I could not see the "sdkPath.dat" file in the Xcelsius assets folder, so I created one using Notepad by changing the .txt extension to .dat by renaming the file. Is this the right procedure?
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Xcelsius\assets\air\sdkPath.dat
Many thanks
Michael
Hi Michael,
Export to AIR is not available for Xcelsius Present version. It should be enabled for Xcelsius Engage, so it looks like you are having licensing issues. You may try to go to menu Help->License manager and enter your Engage version keycode, then restart the application. If you are using initial version of the application, uninstall it and install SP1 (you will need to enter the keycode during installation). If all this does not help, I think you need to contact customer support. Once you have export to AIR enabled you should not need to create manually any dat files, they are created by the application.
