Authorizations in TMW

Hello experts,

We are implementing TMW but we need to perform the authorizations, for example,

the supervisor inputs an absence "Doctor's appointmet" in TMW but this absence have to be athorizated by Manager before record it into the Infotype 2001, this functionality would be similar like CATS.

Is it posible to do that?

Hi,

as the authorization concept of TMW corresponds to the concept of other HR transactions (e.g. PA30), this is not possible.

But you could assign P_ORGIN authorization level 'R' and 'E' (write locked record) and make sure that only certain users can unlock or change these absences.

Hi T,

It is an interesting option and would be useful but a have another problem, I need to unlock several records and do it one by one is a lot of work for the Payroll manager. The case is the next:

At the company there are 20 supervisors, each one has 40 employees assigned, so, the supervisor enter the absences/attendances for every employee.

Finally, all incidences must be approved by Payroll manager before to be recorded into the infotypes.

Implementing your solution, is there a way to unlock several records and, what happens with the records locked that was not approved??, should be deleted by the supervisors one by one or there is another way to delete all of them??
