Permission error of copied Content Admin workset

Hi, SDN Fellows.

I tried to created a custom "Content Administration" workset for a delegated content admin scenario.

Here is what I have done. I copied (NOT delta link copy) of the Content Administration workset. All I want is the Portal Content (Application Design Framework Page) to browse and manage the PCD contents. So, I removed the rest of the portal pages, i.e. . Multiple Property Replacement, Unification,Portal Translation, Web Dynpro, Activity Reports, KM Content, Collaboration Content and Workflow Content.

I have assigned this custom workset to a new role, says "Delegated Content Admin" role.I assigned this new role to a test user, says "UserA".

When I login with "UserA", and navigate to the Portal Content page, the PCD browser (i.e., the Portal Catalog Admin iview) is throwing an error and not displyable. The error stated this:

"Portal runtime error.

An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.

Exception ID: 05:11_30/09/08_0102_6230950

Refer to the log file for details about this exception."

When I assigned the same custome role: "Delegated Content Admin" to myself, which I have the standard Content Admin role. I repeat the same steps, navigated to the Portal Content page of the "Delegated Content Admin" role, the PCD browser (i.e. Portal Catalog Admin iView) displayed fine.

For sake of testing, I assigned the standard "Content Admin" role to "UserA", and now the "UserA" able to display the PCD browser.

I believe this is related to the "Permission".

But I have checked all the permission and ensure that "UserA" have the "Full Control", but the error still persisted without assigning the standard "Content Administration"

Other than the Role assignment, and the iview permission settings, I don;t know what else needed to be performed to resolve the error.

Please kindly advise.

Thanks,

KC
