IDOC issue [Filters]

Hello All

I have an issue with IDOC filters....below is the history of the issue:

business model created with filters for a field,say, transportation planning plant. But when the idoc (outbound) is created the segement (Z) is not at all created. Unfortunately the trans.plan.plant set for proceesing holds valid for the idoc to work but still the segement is not created.

any inputs to troubleshoot this issue is much appreciated. Also any concrete document on how to use filters would also be much helpful.

Do you mean that the Z segment is populated, but the filter removes it in the final IDOC?

Did you check if the Z segment is getting populated correctly in the userexit?

Though is getting populated in the ABAP processing before idoc posting it is deleted when the idoc is created. But i can assure tht this is something to do with filter but the setting part i where i'm mising. BD59 shows an entry for message type and segment bu the filter field is different
