VC Portal Content

I am trying to clarify my understanding of the VC,...

Based on the information i have one can access VC via the portal and develop content from it.

Also it uses the connectors available via the portal to connecto to various backend systems?

However my question is that once the content is developed how does one make that content into an iview?

Can VC also create roles?

Is there any deployment technique so that the developed content can be consumer in the portal?

Hi,

No ,Vc will not creat any Roles .It will creat the portal content with iview or page or pckage.

After deployment(To portal) these content will available in the portal under the Below Location as iviews or pages : Content administration->portal content-> Visual composer->Models.

You can assaign these iviews to your required Roles so that it will be displayed in that roles

Hi,

Once the content is developed into VC and deployed it automatically creates an iview under the folder called visual composer found under portal content.

You can assign this iview to the role as you do for other iviews in portal.
