We are trying to decide on selecting either PPM or PDS for CDP. It seems that no additional configuration is required for characteristic propagation' in PDS. Can anyone shed light on how characteristic propagation works with PDS.
You do not have to make any special settings to the production data structures for CDP and block planning as is the case for production process models with characteristic propagation. The characteristic value assignment is copied internally from the requirement (such as the sales order) to the CDP-relevant components, if the characteristics are identical.
