How can I edit the parameters of a report in BOE XI R2?

We imported reports from seagate 7.5 to boe xi r1, then to boe xi r2....

The scheduled instance was not imported and upon manually rescheduling the the report the parameter & value can only be seen if the "show unused parameters" value is checked but the parameter value shows as [EMPTY] and cannot be edited / updated....

have you tried creating default parameters in the CMC

No, we just imported the reports without any modification....

I may be mistaken, it looks like the parameter isn't used...but I've still been unable to update the parameter.... do parameter fields from crystal 8.5, in this case come over to crystal 11 do you know? if not any idea how to handle?
