User Object and password
I am currently working on a small winform application to quickly change and unlock users.
However, I am experiencing a bit of a difficulty with setting the password.
There is a public member in the user object called "UserPassword", but no specified method as to set this, and SAP has not made the password encryption method public. So my question is:
By setting the member does that automatically trigger an encryption algorithm behind the scenes as you run the update? If not, why has has this member been made public and is what I am trying to do even possible then?

You can use the UserPassword property to set the password of users (assuming the account you are runnning the code on has sufficient authorisations). The DI API will encrypt the password before saving it. Reading the password will always return an encryted value (and SAP do not release the encryption algorithm).
