COPA Allocations

Hi,

Jsut wanted to check if there any easy way to figure out which expenses to be included in the allocation cycles?

Can anyone help me in this?

Hi,

This is depends on business and how they want to analysis gross margin in COPA.

check with your controller and assess costs to COPA.

for reference:

1.Production cost center's over/under absorption cost

2.Materials overhead costs

I understand that it is completelty business driven. This is the first month end activity and the end user is not in a position to visualize what expenses to be moved to COPA and on what basis it has to be alloted.

Is there any way, can we help them?

Hi,

You can allocate,based on Revenue or Net sales etc..
