UIElementLibrary is not used in this Component (Hint: Add UIElementLibrary)

Hi,

I get the following error when i build a DC

[wdgen] [Error] com.ltil.mdm.mcr.approve2.MCRApproveView2 --> UIElement MessageArea [Pattern]: UIElementLibrary is not used in this Component (Hint: Add UIElementLibrary)

there is a message area in my layout. Do I have to add anything in my component because I have added the message area ?

Try this: In the "Web Dynpro Explorer", right-click on the component and select "Edit UI Element Library Reference". Check if the entry for the "Pattern" library is selected.

For future reference, you can check UI element assignment to libraries [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/EN/a7/68a0cb87e4c447922a46cfa2655fb4/frameset.htm].

I must have opened context menu for Component countless times but never noticed 'Edit UI Element Library Reference' option. Thanks Armin for pointing this out.
