setting Float before production (in day)

How can I set the Float before production (in day) in Material master and in the BOM?

Dear,

Schedule margin key includes,

1. Opening period

2. Release period

3. Float before production

4. Float after production.

Opening Period: It is the time to MRP controller to convert planned order to pur req.

For FERT & HALB opening period, release period, Float before production & float after production are applicable.

But for ROH only opening period & release period only applicable.

You need to assign schedule marging key in material master MRP2 view.

For Customizing for Shop Floor Control, by choosing Operations --> Scheduling --> Define Scheduling Margin Key .

Hi

this is done through schedule margin key(SMK) in MRP2 view. This can be configured in SPRO. Just check Shop floor control-operation-schedulling-define schedule margin key.
