I need to rename a WBS Element,

how can i do that?

Hi,

you can just change it in CJ20N.

open the project and select the project definition and go to WBS element overview, then you can change the short code,but it should not exist in the system.even the WBS has a status release. still you can change.

If your project in created (CRTD) state, you can delete the project in CJ20N and create a new one with the required naming convention.

u can the WBS element ID if the following prerequisites are met

1) coding mask allows the change.

2) The new WBS Element does not exists before hand

3) No system/ user status prevents the change.

What is the Tcode for the coding mask change in Customizing?

U can change it simply by cj02.

Hi,

If you mean the 'short description' of the WBS element, you can just change it without any problem.

you should be able to change ID as well if the coding is allowed, but do be careful and rerun CJEN to update PSJ
