Hi
I have two BPs with same org.unit.
Out of which one BP , the sales area is maintained as
Salesorg -XXX
Dis. channel - XX
Division- XX
But for another BP, the sales area is maintained as
Salesorg -XXX
Dis. channel - XX
Division -
Note: In R3 both has divisions
Could I know how the sales area data is maintained with division for one BP and another one without divison.
Regards
Hemalatha
Hi Hemlatha,
In CRM, unlike R/3, divisions are used independent of distribution channel. They are not the org. unit but "general attributes". Assignment of division to a Sold-to-Party is done in "sales area" data only however check the below SPRO customizing in your system to make sure use of division is not switched off:
Customer Relationship Management --> Master Data --> Organizational Management --> Division Settings -->Define Use of Division and Dummy Division
In case it is switched off, you will not be able to see the division feild in sales area and a dummy division will be used to transfer data to R/3.
Let me know if this helps....!!!!
