Crystal Report Toolbar icon error...

We have just moved our solution from Windows server 2003 to windows server 2008 and so it has iis 7. When we were on old server everthing was running perfectly fine and as soon as we moved to a new server crystal report toolbar icons are missing and if we try to use print or export button it gives an error "Object doesn't support this action" I really need help to resolve this issue. We have developed this solution with VS 2008.

The reason this is happening is because you don't have the crystalreportviewers folder on your new system. If you look at your old system, you will see a virtual folder called CrystalReportViewers115 (or something similar depending on what version of crystal you are using).

This viewers folder contains the files needed to print / export, as well as the icons in the toolbar. So what you need to do is to right click on one of the icons and look at the properties. This will tell you where crystal is expecting the files to be. Then create a virtual folder in that location that points to the crystalreportviewers folder.

Shawn
