Hi all,
I am just trying to create a trusted rfc connection from solution managet to satellite system and also from satellite system to solution manager.
But here i have the problem the connection test are working but the authorisationt test are failing.
The same status from solman to satellite and satellite to solman.
I have surfed in SDN but the problem is still persisting for me.
Actions taken after SDN surfing:
S-RFCACl auth object assigned to the user in addition to sap_all adn sap_new.
The error which i am getting while doing the test is
You are not authorised authorization to logon as trusted system ,
I can tfind anything in su53 also. In RFC trace file its throwing an authoirsed error. I have given full sap_all and sap_new with sap_s_rfcacl added role.
But still no use
Please suggest me with your points
regards
Madhu
do you have the same user id in both the systems (solman and satellite system)

Hello Madhu,
The Trusted and Trusting concept goes like this.
The source system will the Trusted system and the destination will be the Trusting system.
For example, from PRD to DEV you are creating a Trusted RFC connection, which doesn't require a usre name and password, the PRD will become Trusted system and DEV will become Trusting system.
Delete the existing RFC connection.
Perform the following steps to recreate the Trusted RFC connection between the system.
On the Trusting System
1.Create the Trusted RFC connection in sm59
a. RFC destination = <trustedSID>TRUSTED
b. Connection Type = 3
c. Description = SID Trusted System
d. Click save
e. Target host= <hostname of trusted system)
f. Enter System #
g. Click save
2. Create the Trusted System
a. smt1
b. Click create
c. Enter the name of the rfc connection created in step 1
d. Enter the client, userid, and password information
On the Trusted system
1. Create an RFC connection (sm59 create)
2. RFC Destination = <trustingSID>CLNT<trustingclient#> ex. CKDCLNT500
3. Connection type = 3
4. Description = <trustingSID> Client <trustingclient#>
5. Save
6. Enter Target Host and System Number information
7. Click Logon Security Tab
8. Trusted system= yes
9. Enter language and client information
10. Check the current user option
11. Save
Hope it is helpful.

Satish

Hi,
i have tried your both suggestions.
Actions taken 1 :
First deleted the RFC and recreted with the userd id in both satellite and solman system.
O/P : you are not authorised to log on as trusted system
Actions taken 2 :
Again deleted the RFC and created by giving trusted system connection.
Then went to smt1 while trying to create new destination. It throwing a error as You are not authorsied to log on as trusted system
Any suggestions.
But i dont know how to register the system ..Is that mandatory?
regards
Madhu
Hi Madhu,
i had this problem earlier and i did the following.
1) removed the created rfc connection
https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000633637&;
look at the tutor presentation of deleting rfc connection.
2) created user called solman in solution manager and satellite system with following authorization object
1)sap_all
2)SAP_S_RFCACL
3)SAP_S_RFC
i copied the above role to corresponding custumer namespace for ex: Z_SAP_S_RFC
then it worked.
regards,
vijay.
