Broadcast Messaging Distribution Lists

I am keen to start using the broadcast messaging transaction but setting up the distribution lists is hideous.

There is no select all function so you have to select every user individually.

Has anyone found a way past this problem, could you set up BM distribution lists based on org units for example.

Hi,

I did not try using org units. but for general broadcast to all, try sending the message without selecting the specific users.

I don't believe this will work.

Derek, my understanding is that the tedious task of adding each user has to be completed.

Wish it wasn't so.

Thank you for your prompt responses. Looks like I am resigned to it or at least making someone else do it!

Shame they didn't consider broadcasting by org unit as this seems the level that most messages should be targeted at.

Hopefully something developers will look at in the future.
