Upgrade stops on Phase EU_IMP4.ELG with error

Hi upgrade experts,

The Upgrade from 4.6C to SAP ERP ECC 6.0 stoped in phase

EU_IMP4.ELG without error message which cannot gives us any enough information about the problem.

The log files we have are:

1) SAPup.log:

Even in SDN there is nothing about Phase EU_IMP4.ELG.

Its phase 74 of 504.

Hi Atik,

Could you please tell me the number of Back ground work process in your system?

As a standard the number of background work processes should be 9 before starting the upgrade, so please do the same if required and re-run the same step again.

Hi,

there was no error or dumps. The upgrade is now stoped so no background job.

The current status:

I download a now DVD because the data seems to be corruped. And I need to add the new DVD path to the SAPup.

My problem now:

The SAPup stops at EU_IMPORT4 and I have only the option to contnues or repeat this phase.

My question:

How can I come to status that I can give the new DVD path without to reset the all SAPup as decribed in the upgrade guide S189?

It should be possible. Do miss some info from guide?

I would open an OSS call and let the support have a look on the system. I'm not sure if the problem is caused by a faulty CD - too less information provided.

I would reset the prepare and start from scratch. It's not that much work.

Hi,

I passed this error by checking the file E0000015.DPR there there was file name which I had to copy it to DVD and restart the upgrade again. Now it works. The files E0000015.001 was corrupted. When I copied it to \tplpack it does not help. It should be to DVD the same path of the corrupted file.

Do you see a dump in the system (ST22) or any other error in the job logs of user DDIC?
