allocation cost element under activity type

Hi Experts,

I wasing creating an activity type (t-code KL01) in which i fil, under basic data tab--> allocation default value--

> A types == 1 manual entry , manual allocation

now system gives an error ( you must specify a cost element for activity category 1).

but the is no entry exist in this feild( allocation cost element ), pls advice me how to proceed.

Hi

You need to enter the secondary cost element (KA06) of catagory "43" (Internal activity allocation) in the field "Allocation cost elem"

This cost element is then used to allocate the cost.
