Hi All,

We are installing the Support packages in our solution manager, after reading the previous posts i came to know that support packages have to be confirmed through the maintenance optimizer to download the same and once confirmed i can install the packages as in R/3 using SPAM.

As far as my knowledge, when installing the support packages we don't require the system downtime or restarting the system after installing the packages. The only thing we need to consider is we need to install with the 000 client using DDic user and install the packages in order and run the SGEN after installing the packages.

Friends, please correct me if i am wrong.
