Production Order

Hi PP gurus,

Can anybody tell me how I can create production order automatically against respective material sales order.i.e Production order should create automatic when I create Sales order?

Dear,

In standard SAP I think it is not possible. You need to create the production order in CO08 for particular sales order.

But yes it is possible to convert sales order to production order directly.You can use strategy 82 for this.

Please assign the relevant point before closing the thread. You have not rewards any point in strategy 10, 11 thread.

BAPI_PRODORD_CREATE should be able to do this. It's available as of release 5.00.

configure ur requirement class, taking help of SD person.

then there is option to create prod order immidiatly after saving sales order.

it easy not much difficult.

see setting in requirement class from SD side,

the path is SAP Customizing Implementation Guide>Sales and Distribution>Basic Functions>Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements>Transfer of Requirements-->

u can see here.

but this is relevant for MTO scenarion only!, keep that in mind.

Hi,

It is possible to create production order without MRP run for sales order. Maintain planning strategy 81 (Assembly order with production order) with supports requirement class 201 and requirement type KMFA. when u are putting sales order with MD81 on next screen delivery confirmation is proposed. u can check the results in MD04

Definately Yes.. u have to use planning strategy 82 in MRP 3 view of mm

it is MTO stratergy.

When u will create sales order system will create one production order in background.

please revert back if want any clearification.

Hi

You have to configure the production order type in requiement class (transaction code: OVZG). So whenever you create a sales order, it will create production order automatically.

Pl Revert back if any.

Dear ,

Run MRP in md02 or md50 , planned order will be created with reference to sale order . Release / convert it into production order .
