Hi All,
What are the steps required after creating & saving Excise invoice?
What are the types of excise invoices?
& what are the registers related to excise invoice, how r the get updated & how to see whether they are updated or not?

Apart form that, if you have CESS, PLA register also need to be updated after J1IIN.

Actually there are two types of excise invoices we can see in SD Module is concern
1) Excise invoice for factory sale(T code - j1iin)
2) Excise invoice for Depot sale(T code - j1ij)

T-Code is J1iin.
Export and Domestic are the different types of Invoices.
RG1 and RG23D are the registers which get updated in case of direct and depot sales respectively.
