SMD: No Solution from DSWP

Hi

I create a Solution with Logical Component already in DSWP, but in http://<smdserver:<port>/smd -> Diagnostic Setup -> Managed Systems, I can't find the solution.

Do I miss something ?

Thank you.

Hi Halomoan,

Have you made the Diagnostics Configuration (Setup Connection to Diagnostics and Transfer Solution Landscape) in SPRO.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Raghavendra.

Hi Raghavendra

I take a look into the SPRO, I found the Diagnostics Configuration but there is no configuration enable (i mean there is no clock button for me to do the configuration).

What should I do ?

Hi Halomoan,

i think you need to run the "Upgrader":

Log on to your SMD: http://<smdserver:<port>/smd

then go to: Diagnostics Setup -> Diagnostics System

There start the "Upgrader" and perform the upgrade by pressing the "Upgrade Now"-button.

During this "upgrade" all solutions are read.

Before you can run the "Upgrader" you have of course to complete the "Setup Wizard" of the Diagnostics System.

After an successful upgrade you should be able to see your solutions under "Managed Systems".

Hi Benjamin

I have feeling that your suggestion is correct, but after run the Upgrader, there is nothing in the Managed Systems.

Do you know what else I should check?

In T-Code: dswp, I can see the solution within Solution Overview.

Hi Halomoan,

Transaction to check the config for Diagnostics is SMDIAG_CONFIG.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Raghavendra.

Hi,

Is your SLD configured?

Your SMSY Data should go to SLD. Please check notes 1113137 and 987835

This will solve your problem.

Feel free to revert back.

Hi Raguraman

I find the attachment in note 987835 is far more close to my case.

On section 3.3 "Publication of the defined solution in SMD", i stucked on "Enter Server Data", because on the Wizard screen, it doesn't show my server (just empty). It should show the server of my solution, right?

Do you know where is my fault ?

Thank you.
