Hi folks,
I need to import data from MS Access to BW (NW BI 7.0).
I heard that I can do this using UD Connect with a JDBC driver. Do you have experience with this interface? Is it working well?
What other options do I have? Is UD Connect the way to go?
Best regards
Daniel
As far as I know - UDCONNECT is a SAP tool and you can extract data via JDBC FROM systems that support it (I use it to read real time views from teradata into BW multicubes)
As far as I know - it doesn;t work the other way around
Yes I suppose you can utilise the JDBC drivers in BW into MS Access but you have to find the MS tool to do that not UDCOnnect
But I stand to be corrected - and would be interested to see others opinions

Hi,
Although never used it, but it works just fine. It is used for relation/multidimensional table extraction.
DB Connect is available only for below mentioned databases:
u2022 Max DB
u2022 Informix
u2022 MS SQL Server
u2022 Oracle
u2022 IBM DB2/390
u2022 IBM DB2/400
u2022 IBM DB2 UDB (db6)
So, in your case, you have to use UD conncet.
Thanks...
