can u answere this question
we have ecc-6.0,databse-oracle-10.2.0.1.
in st03 n it shows the DBtime more than 100ms but it value not cross morethan 40ms.what precaution i have to maintain fopr this optimum value

100ms sounds pretty ok to me...

but it crosses sometimes more than 190ms also
thats ok.... usually response time depends on a scope of factors... so having small variations is fine... I will only be concerned if suddently jumps to 1000s+ but small variations are ok.
When statements are expensive it may cross threshold value & if there is no effective utilization of buffers.
