PM Critical plant monitoring points

Hi Gurus

we have a requirment of. having daily,weekly and monthly plants monitoring critical points in SAP PM. Every area ( Under nder plant ) has a list of critical monitoring points ( for preventive maintenance ) to be checked and record in System either critical monitoring point has been checked and user has recorded in the system ( SAP).

Where we can record \ configure this in SAP PM , or PP.

HI

your critical monitoring points has to be created as packages in maintenance stategy (ex.if your critical points is as 100hrs,500hrs etc, then these has to creat as the packages in IP11)

then prerequistes are

1.create the functinal location -IL01/02

2.Create Equipment -IE01/02

2.Create work centre IR01/02(assing in equipment master)

3.Create the general task list with you specific maintenace package -IA05/06

4.Create maintenance plan with the same package defined in task list -IP42/02

5.Creat measuring Point with respective to equipment or functional location as per your requiremnt-Ik01/02

6.Create measuring document for the measuring point -Ik11/12

7schedule the plan-IP10

8.check the plan scedule in IP24

Once again. like our critical \ monitoring points are.

for plant\ Area = A

1) check oil level / make up ( check to be daily )

2) Abnormal sound of corbon dosing pump ( check to be weekly).

3) abnormal sound of motors ( daily)

4) filter cleaning / abnormal sound of motrs and blowers

Required is user check the monitoring points physically. and record in the system . he has checked the monitoring point one by one , and record in system . is it ok or not . if not what is the reason . and some remarks ( a text statment ).

Just we want to keep the record through system ,wheather Plant maintance peoples has completed the monitoring points . daily for daily. weekly for weekly. if he has not recorded in the system. then higher manager can purse.

User is suppose to be record monitoring acitivites on interval basis ( daily, weekly, monthly) .

HI

you need to create the strategy as dialy,

you can assign the package for daily 1DAY and for weekly &day.

so this depend on routing or tasklist, fo oil cleaning daily opeartion you need to assign the 1DAy packge so when you do scheduluing the order will come daily .

when ever the worker checks physically the montory check, these can be entred in the order long text as OK or NOT OK

once he completes the work, user will close the order, if he delays teh varice (differnce will come) can see in IP10.

so these delays can be monitored by higer authority.

hi

you can configure the preventive maintenance in PM itself

you have to create equipment

Measuring point for the equipment

Maintenance plan for the equipment

Create measurement documents for measuring point

Schedule the maintenance plan

as soon the counter value equals the cycle value specified in the maintenance plan ,Maintenance call object( maintenance order or notification) will be generated
