i donot want donot want asset sub no. inherit capitalized on from asset master. example asset no 800041-0 capitalized date on 01.01.2000 when i create asset sub number 800041-1 by t-code AS11.

the system copy value capitalized on and ordinary depreciation start.

what should i do to avoid sub number inherit value capitalized on and ordinary depreciation from main asset ?

In respective asset class screen layout rule for depreciation area you need to untick the copy check box in AO21 for ordinary depreciation start date.

For capitalization date, you need to untick copy check box in asset master data screen layout rules.
