Hello Friends,

While doing release to account in t-vf02 ,

i want to update g/l accounts so that basic price

and all other taxes should go in different G/L accounts

for clear maintaince of chart of accounts.

Is there any best practise for this concept.

How to do this configuration ?

Regards

Jase

Hi,

Pl see how the G/L account is determined in your config.

Transaction:VKOA.

Most likely, it would be determined by the combination of the following:

Customer Account Group (from customer master)

Material Account Assgmt Group (Material Mster)

Account key.

Before the billing document is transferred to FI , you can edit the customer account group at the billing document headrer and material account group at the item level and post to different G/L accounts from what is automatically determined.

Hope I have understood your question correctly !!

Hi,

The GL Accounts in Sales & Distribution is determined through Account determination procedure. The intrgration between SD & FI is Account keys and these account keys are attached to each condition type in pricing procedure. SAP propsed account keys for account determination are-

Revenues ERL

Discounts ERS

TAX MWS

Freight ERF

Hi,,

Account keys are assigned to condition types in the pricing procedure, so that conditions such as freight condition, basic price, taxes can be posted to special revenue accounts.

Thanks

Hi ,

The movement you save billing document if is automatic release, then immediately accounting document will be created and posts to concerned GL Accounts.

And if VOFA - F2- If you are hacing Manual release to accounting. then after saving VF02- then click on release to accounting.

Follow either of the one based on the requirement.

Best Regards
