VETS 100; OSS 1178236

We are attempting to apply note 1178236 for the VETS 100 report and are getting the error:

Error occurred when uploading file (unknown file format)

The file was downloaded directly from the SAP note.

Has anyone applied this note and gotten the same error? If so, please let us know how you resolved the issue.

I would assume it was in XML format. Corrections have been suggested. Pls contact OSS for support

Has anyone been able to successfully get the VETS100 reports to run with the new changes implemented in OSS1178236? We are running ECC 6.0 and have installed support packs up to and including SAPK-60037 for HR and we can not seem to get any kind of output in a PDF format. I can get detail report using HRforms but can not get a report in HRforms with the Details check box unchecked.

Any help would be most appreciated.

rsion (RPSVT1U0_CE) does not incorporate the new changes prescribed by the U.S. Department of Labor for the 2008 VETS-100 FEDERAL CONTRACTOR REPORT ON VETERANS' EMPLOYMENT. These changes are described online, at the following location:

Solution

To fulfill these requirements in your system, apply the HR Support Package(s) indicated for your release in the Reference to Support Packages section of this Note. Due to the nature of these requirements, no correction instructions can be provided in this Note.

As an alternative to applying the indicated HR Support Package, customers who operate mySAP ERP 2004 or SAP ERP 6.0 may instead introduce these changes manually, by performing the following activities.

1. Review the Attachments section of this Note.

a) Download the file named SFPF_VET1.zip, contained therein.

b) Extract from it the file named SFPF_VET1.XML

2. Execute transaction SFP.

a) On the subsequent screen, specify form VET1, then choose Change.

b) On the screen thereafter, choose the menu path Utilities -> Uploading form....

c) Navigate to the location of the file extracted in step 1b., then upload that file.

d) Save and activate the modified form.

3. Execute transaction SM31.

a) On the subsequent screen, specify view V_T512P, then choose Maintain.

b) For language EN, country grouping 10 and form name VET1, modify, within line 29, the word Newly to Recently

c) Save the modified entry.

Customers who operate at SAP R/3 Enterprise (Release 4.70) or below only need to perform steps 3a. through 3c. to introduce this change manually.

Hi,

If you're directly linked with Internet, follow the steps below:

1. Goto SNOTE transaction

2. Click Download SAP note and select the note which you want to implement

3. Once the note is downloaded you will see it under new subtree

4. Select the note and click on execute button
