System definition for ESS on Load balanced server

Hello All,

Just want to know how to define a ESS system on portal with multiple instances.

We have central instance and 5 dialog instances.

Earlier a system is defined a portal with its WAS property pointing to one of the dialog instance D1. For me, it doesn't look right. because, if dialog instance D1 goes down, we are not able to see the ESS Iviews. The whole idea of load balancing and avaialbility is taken off.

Can any one suggest me. How to configure system to the group not to one single instance.

Hi James,

When you create a system for ECC on the portal, you will have to select the load balancing template, which will connect to the instance through the message server.

So even if a single dialog instance goes down, the system should remain functional.
