Lock Users from entering data for particular Fiscal Period/Year

Hi,

How can i restrict or lock users from entering Planning data for only particular Fiscal Period/year.

Example:

Users should be able to manualy enter data for 010/2008, but should be restricted/Locked from entering data to 009/2008 or before period/Year.

Please suggest any solutioins.

Create a data slice of type selection - Use an exit variable for Fiscal Period/year which implements this logic.

Hi Kumar,

select as posting epriod data clolumns in the layout and Enable comparsion coloumn for those periods you want to restirict.
