License for Portal Users?

Hi all.

I'm new about SAP NetWeaver Portal, the issue is if the license have limitattions for any number of users, only portal users whitout acces to back-end systems??

Hi Dario,

For SAP licensing, you need to ask your licensing department to check with SAP for licensing cost and usage of the SAP Portal.

As mentioned, there is no limitation on the amount of users for portal at a single point of time. Your licensing department should discuss the contract with SAP for an agreed number of Portal users (a lmited license fee for Portal usage only). The user measurement is done I believe via snapshoot of your system (I think) and send to SAP for Licensing agreement/discussion.

No, there is no such limitation concerning the users as long as the portal installation is licensed at all.
