Hi,
My customer has noticed that each time a flash file is called from Infoview, the whole file has to be reloaded.
Is there a way to cache it on the browser or on a server?
Many thanks for your input,
Regards,
Jenni Jacob
I received the answer:
A Flash file (regardless if created in Xcelsius) gets loaded into the Flash Player u2013 not temp directory
So in summary, there is no way of caching a flash file.
Alternatives:
If you are working on a 'connected' model, you may want to consider reconfiguring the settings so that it refreshes from a 'cached' report (if refreshing from a Webi or Crystal report) as opposed to a database refresh.
If it's a static model that they're experiencing performance problems on, then they may want to consider breaking the model up...fyi
