Inspection Type 89

Dear All

We do lot of inspection which will fall into the other inspection type category i.e. 89. We would like to do some reporting / monitoting on the other inspections. This means we will have to create lot of Z or Y inspection types which are a copy of 89.

Other than creating new inspection types is there any other way of handling this scenario?

At any point in time i should how many inspection lots were created for a particular purpose.

Hi Pintoo,

'89' is Lot Origin.

You can create as many types you want & assign it to origin '89'.

You can definitely differentiate between the two.

e.g. if you are using tcode: QA32 , you can separate it by using Dynamic Selections.

Or you can develop some report as per your requirement.
