Hi,

We have databases saved in the SQL Server. But we dont find the database listed in the SAP B1 2005 B.

We also tried to detach and attach the databases in the server. But still we could not find the database in the SAP B1.Can you suggest some solution to overcome this problem?

Hi Vasanthi

What version of SQL are you using? If 2005, then as mentioned, try installing Native Client on each client machine. Make sure that when you select the company database in SAP Business One, it is set as MSSQL_2005.

Kind Regards

Hi,

We are using SQL server 2005 Express edition. Also we have attached the databases and refreshed the company list in the SAP B1 application, but still its not listed.

Please check SAP Note# 928839. Your SQL server version might not be included in the support list.

you use a SQL Server, which is not supported and recommend for SAP B1.

You should have a look at the system requirements https://websmp209.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000310652008E.pdf

Btw did you test the (re)install of the SQL native client ?

Hi,

Have you refresh your database list? You have to refresh it to reflect the change.

I think you must know that already. Then do you have other databases you can see from the list?

Thanks,

Gordon

hi,

if the database is missing, then this issue could be related to the sql native client. please deinstall and reinstall the client package. you could directly do this from the sql installation source oder from the ms homepage.
