log on to j2ee engine

Hi,

i try to log on to j2ee engine, like:

http://<host>:<port>/wsnavigator

Then i'm asked for user and password, after that i got error:

'403 Forbidden You are not authorized to view the requested resource'

My normal sap user and password seems not valid, do i have to configure user and password in j2ee engine ?

Hi Rolf,

If I'm not wrong, yours is dual stack (ABAP+JAVA) system. In this case, Java Instance uses ABAP UME. You need to assign relavant Roles/Authorizations to the ABAP ID to be able to logon to Java system.

Try to log-on with J2EE_ADMIN ID.

Hi There,

Yes you have to maintain your user id and password in the secure store of the visual admin/config tool.
