UPDATE is allways dangerous.

can you see the old data with SE16?

if not, the data is lost.

is there any alternative to get the old data????

Hi Geetha,

if that table has propert of logged data , then you can get log details in CDPOS and CDHDR.If not we can not do anything.

Geetha,

Go to Technical Settings in the table and check whether Log Date check box is checked.....If not, there is no possiblity of tracking the data...

If the check box is checked...goto table DBTABPRT...and check for the log...

U can also check the difference in entries in t-code SCU3...

These things can be done only log data is checked in ur technical settings of that table...

One more thing...go to sm31 and enter view V_T585A...it will display the infotypes that have been logged...if pb4000 is not there..then there is no way to retrieve ur record...
