May I know the difference between IT 0022 (Education ) & IT 0024 (Qualification???

Hi,

Please look at the below link. It has information on both IT0022 and IT0024.

IT0022 is used to capture all the educationla records i.e degrees obtained, colleges attended etc.

IT0024 is used to capture the qualification records such as an employee has proficient knowledge in Spanish language, he has good managerial skills etc.

However, IT0024 is not used anymore, instead PD profiles are used. Transaction code fore PD profiles is PPPM.

one more thing we can say is 0022 has a normal infotype structure and 0024 has table structure.

Qualification means what skill employer required

Hi,

IT0022 is to maintain master data about the educational qualification of employee, where as in IT0024 we maintain the PD Documents, Like if You have PD the appraisal documents can be viewed through IT0024.

IT0022 is to maintain employee educational details. IT0024 captures the skills and qualifications with a profile. If you have PA , OM integration switch active, the data is stored on the OM side. You can create object types QP and Q and they can be used to capture the employess skills and levels.

In the 22 you try to enter the employee Education Details such as his/her degree, edu institutions details etc

In the 24 we try to capture the Qualifications his proficiency levels this can be used in PD
