Issue with leave request approval

Hi all,

We are using EP7 SP6 and 50.4 ESS business package. the backend system is 4.7.

I have called the standard workflow WS20000081 for leave application.

When the applicant submits the leave request to his approver, it appears in his inbox(both UWL and SAP inbox).

But the behaviour is different in both the cases.

In EP, even when the approver presses on Approve or Reject, the action does not take place....and even the screen that the approver sees is editable, i.e. the approver can make changes to all the fields in the leave request!

but when the approver opens the leave request via his SAP Inbox(SBWP), it behaves correctly, and the approve/ reject happens.

Where should I troubleshoot for this?

I even tried calling the transaction sbwp in EP, but still surpringly the problem is the same.

We are not using SSO here, but user mapping, since we also wanted to link the EP ID with Outlook.

Hi,

There can be the service problem.

So, publish all the services using the program W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES, then configure your UWL again.

Also check using defaulttrace file in Server for the Authorization.
