material document-quantity adjustment

hi

We made STO for10 quantities, created delivery note for 10, did picking and PGI for 10 qty. GR was done for 8 quantities. now we need to bring remaining 2 quantities back from stock in transit to issuing plant and storage location.

How to do this, any ways? kindly check.

Hi,

If you are using 641movement type { Goods issue for a stock transport order (Shipping)}

flag the item as returns in the STO-Purchase order.

you can post the goods receipt of the returns in the issuing plant with movment type 671.

- If it is 643, you can post the goods receipt of the return at the issuing plant with movment type 673.

- Using movement type 557, you can correct purchase-order-independent stock in transit if:

1. a good receipt cannot be posted to a purchase order without stock in transit, even though there is still stock in transit according to the purchase order history

2. stock in transit still exists, even though there are no open stock transfer orders for the particular material

This movement type may ONLY be used in the cases mentioned above after careful analysis, to correct stock in transit that has rounding errors.
