integration bi 7 portal 6 error : rswr_rfc_service_test

Former Member

Hello,

I try to integrate BI 7.0 in EP 6.0 SP15 but I have an error in SPRO at Step 12 : System failure during call of function module RSWR_RFC_SERVICE_TEST

But I applied the note 937697 : Usage of SAP NetWeaver BI Diagnostics. And everything is green.

I looked at the note 888687 but the errors do not match.

Should we install a component for BI on EP 6.0 ?

Thank you for your help !

Hi,

You can download BI-Java Components from SMP. Goto www.service.sap.com/swdc

Download->Support Packages and Patches ->Entry by application group ->SAP Netweaver -> SAP Netweaver -> SAP Netweaver 7.0 -> Entry by Component -> BI Java

Hello,

Thank you for your help.

The BI-java stack is installed on system BI 7.0 in java stack but not installed on EP 6.0.

Should I install it on the stack of Java portal?

If so, where can I find this stack?

Thank you again

Hi,

Please read the discussion in the thread below.

This should help.

If you have installed BI JAVA stack on BI 7.0 system then try creating Jco connections from BI java to BI ABAP system.

EP6 does not have BI-JAVA components. If you want functionality delivered by BI-java stack then you need to install BI-JAVA components on EP 6 system.
